Thursday Night Service, June 25, 2020 - Psalm 13

On June 25th we held what will be our last (until we get through the Covid 19 situation) Thursday night service.  We're rebranding what we do on Thursday nights and please go to our Facebook Page (Woodlawn Christian Church Facebook Page) to see what we presented last night.  It's possible that I'll vary what we do on Thursday at 7pm but we'll continue to do something.

The sermon on this last service covered the 13th Psalm.  This is a Psalm of Lament and something worth hearing at this time of trial and tribulations.  Please take a listen and we hope it blesses you in some small way.

Be a blessing to someone today!

In Christ,
Roy

Psalm 13 New International Version (NIV)
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,

for he has been good to me.
